More Than Just Cricket

While cricket is at the heart of Roe Green, the social side of our club is just as important to who we are. Our clubhouse is a warm, welcoming hub for members, families and the wider community. It’s a place to relax, catch up and enjoy great company all year round. Whether it’s a quiet midweek drink, live sport on the big screens, or simply a friendly space to unwind, we’re proud to offer a venue that feels like home.

Across the year we host a wide range of community-focused events including markets, social evenings, family fun days and seasonal celebrations. With our newly renovated Tyldesley Lounge providing a modern and comfortable setting, the club is an ideal spot for gatherings big and small. We’re always looking to bring people together, create memorable experiences and continue strengthening the social heartbeat of the village.

In 2025, we launched our community café initiative to offer a regular, accessible space for the community outside of the cricket season. Running weekly with the help of volunteers, the café serves drinks, snacks and good conversation, creating an inclusive environment for residents of all ages. It has already become a popular social hub and an important part of our commitment to supporting village life year-round.

Whether you’re a long-standing member or visiting us for the first time, everyone is welcome at RGCC — on and off the field.
