Established in 1881, Roe Green Cricket Club stands in the picturesque village of Worsley, Salford. As founders members of the Greater Manchester Premier League, our club boasts three competitive senior teams, along with a 4th XI that currently competes on a more relaxed, friendly basis. Notably, 2023 marked a historic milestone for us as our first XI clinched both the GMCL Premier League title and the GMCL T20 Premier Cup, achieving a remarkable double triumph

We are also home to a thriving junior section, with our aspiring cricketers ranging from the ages of 5 to 18. With thriving All Stars and Dynamo cohorts, Friday nights at the club regularly see upwards of 80 youngsters learning to play the game. In recent years, our ladies and girls section has gone from strength, with teams competing in both friendly and competitive fixtures.

More than just a sports venue, Roe Green Cricket Club holds a key in place in the village community. We take pride in hosting family-friendly events, as well as serving as a gathering spot for families, friends, and neighbors alike. Our clubhouse is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, featuring Sky Sports and TNT Sports channels, ensuring you never miss any major sporting event.
